Can I take out supplementary insurance for the rented bike?

The client can take out a complementary insurance for the bicycle in case of breakage, which covers up to € 500 of damage caused to the bicycle or its components. Provided that the damage has not been caused by an incorrect use of the leased material.

The price of the insurance may vary depending on the product.

Below you can see the conditions of the supplementary insurance:

The client contracts the accidental damage insurance for the rented material from the New Horizon representative, José Buades Samper with ID 78195713Z.

  1. The client is responsible for the correct use of the bicycle for the total period of the rental contract.
  2. The customer is responsible for any damage that may be caused to third parties, whether due to personal injury or material damage.
  3. The client is responsible for being insured with adequate coverage against risks that may arise during the rental period.
  4. The client can take out supplementary insurance for the bicycle in the event of an accident:
    • Covers any damage caused to the bicycle or its components and equipment.
    • Covers up to € 500 in damages, provided that the damage was not caused by an incorrect use of the leased material.
    • It does not cover any personal injury to the client, nor any personal or material damage caused to third parties eventually involved.
  5. In no case does this insurance cover damage due to misuse, theft or loss of the rented equipment. In the event of any of the aforementioned situations, damage, loss or theft, the customer will immediately assume all replacement costs incurred at market price.

What use can I make of the rented material?

Our bicycles are rented for recreational sports use , not for extreme risk sports use, so any breakage of the material as well as the injuries that these practices may cause will be the responsibility of the user.

How does the collection and return of bicycles and rented equipment work at the shop?

The collection can be carried out throughout the day of the beginning of the rental period, we advise to notify by email the expected time of collection. If you want to collect the day before, you have to notify in advance to be able to organize it, and it must be collected at the closing time of the store.

The return can be carried out throughout the day of the end of the rental, the maximum time will be the closing time of the store.

Can I request delivery and return at the hotel or at the address where I am staying?

If you want the delivery of the material to take place at the hotel or at the house you have rented, contact us.

We deliver in the north area (Alcúdia, Pollença, Playas de Muro, Muro, Sa Pobla, Campanet, Llubi, Búger).

How can I know which size to choose?

Each brand has its own size system, we have unified the sizes even if they are different brands, but you can consult the following table to find your approximate size based on your height.

When you pick up your bicycle, the team that will assist you in the store will adjust the bicycle to your height so that you can use it comfortably.

If your size is not available, you can always take a size up or down and it can be adjusted so that you can wear it.

We want to book as a group, how can I do it?

Useful information if you want to book for groups.

Online booking:

  • If you want to reserve for a group, you will have to select each bike and customize, that is, for each selected bike you have to add the extras you want.
  • Once they have all the bicycles in the cart, they will be able to assign each bicycle to a name, in this way, it will be much more agile for them to come to pick up the bicycle at the store.
  • It is important that you add the pick-up time when making the reservation or contact us when you know.

Personalized Reservation:

  • If you need help with the reservation, you can contact us and we will send you a table so that all the members of the group can write down and which bike they want, extras, etc.
  • Once the reservation is made, we will send it to you and you must pay 25% of the amount by bank transfer within the next 72 hours. By sending us the proof of the transfer.
  • In case of not paying the corresponding deposit in the following 72 hours, the reservation will be canceled.

Covid and new setbacks in the reserve

All new reservations as of August 2021, are subject to the new cancellation policy.

People who had a reservation in 2020 and 2021 who were affected by the Covid pandemic, can make a new reservation until the end of 2022, from which we will deduct the amount paid in their reservation.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

  1. Management fees are equivalent to 10% of the final price of the reservation, these will not be returned. Therefore, in no case will 100% of the reservation be returned.
  2. Cancellation up to 30 days before the start of the reservation: 90% refund.
  3. Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before the start of the reservation: 50% refund.
  4. Cancellation last 14 days before the start of the reservation: there are no refunds. A change of reservation is offered for another available date.
